Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many and what proportion of dogs are registered as microchipped.

We estimate that around 8 million dogs in the UK are microchipped, which represents about 94% of all dogs.
