Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent discussions he has had with his Portuguese counterpart on the treatment of British nationals within the Portuguese judicial system.

The Foreign Secretary has not had any recent discussions with his Portuguese counterpart on the treatment of British nationals within the Portuguese judicial system.
Consular officials regularly discuss individual prisoner cases with their counterparts in Portugal.
