Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps he is taking to reduce the level of emissions from road transport.

The Government will be publishing its air quality plan to tackle nitrogen dioxide emissions by the end of July. We also intend to publish our emissions reduction plan - setting out how we will reduce carbon emissions through the 2020s – once Parliament returns after the summer recess.
