We are committed to creating a National Care Service and Baroness Casey’s Independent Commission will soon set out recommendations to deliver this.
We are also improving support for adult social care, including making available £4.6 billion in additional funding in 28/29, introducing a fair pay agreement for workers, strengthening support for unpaid carers, and providing £723 million to help disabled people adapt their homes.
