Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, whether he has had discussions with Thames Valley Police on Mohammad Yaseen's bail release.

The Secretary of State for Justice has not had any discussions with Thames Valley Police about the release of this case.

For clarification, the individual was released on licence (not released on police bail), under statutory management by the Probation Service for his licence period and managed under Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements. This will have, amongst other key partner agencies, included police representatives and would discuss the risk management and release planning.
