Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether all British Council staff that have applied under the ARAP scheme are now in the UK.

45 former British Council employees have already arrived in the UK, together with their dependents. In August we also agreed to resettle over 50 British Council contractors. Many of these have already arrived in the UK with their families. We are working with the Home Office and the Ministry Of Defence in order to make sure that the rest of those who are eligible to come to the UK can do so.
