We do not hold a full list of how many times the Department has met with members of the public to discuss fireworks. However, the Government regularly engages with a wide range of stakeholders, to listen to and understand their views on the impact of the use of fireworks. This includes both in person but also through regular correspondence.

Our engagement includes, but is not exclusive to, trade associations, animal welfare organisations, the industry, members of the public, Parliamentarians, and other government departments.
