Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he is taking to increase the number of people taking (a) PCR and (b) lateral flow covid-19 tests.

A nation-wide campaign has been launched to encourage people to test when symptomatic or asymptomatic, wear a face mask and open windows. We continue to provide free lateral flow tests through a variety of channels. We encourage people to test regularly to protect those at risk of serious illness.
