Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he plans to take to increase capacity in the social care sector over the next four months.

On 10 December we announced £300 million to support local authorities and care providers recruit and retain care staff through the winter. This funding will enhance the existing £162.5 million Workforce Recruitment and Retention Fund, which was announced on 21 October. The latest phase of our adult social care national recruitment campaign was launched in early November and will run until March 2022.
