Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how many staff have been employed by the UK Mission to the EU in each of the last 10 years.
The UK Mission to the European Union currently employs over 150 people, comprising both permanent civil servants from multiple government departments and locally recruited staff. The vast majority of staff are funded by FCDO and the evolution of FCDO staff numbers from 2014-2021 is set out below.
