To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities, what progress her Department has made on its extended consultation on banning conversion therapy.

The Government extended the consultation period to the end of Friday 4 February 2022 to allow a further opportunity to input for those who are yet to respond and to take account of the Christmas and New Year break. The consultation responses will be used to further refine the Government’s policy proposals and inform the process of developing legislation.
