Visitors to Scotland, both domestic and international, make a vital contribution to the Scottish economy. 2014 was a fantastic year for the sector as Scotland hosted a number of world class events such as the Ryder Cup and the Commonwealth Games, and this is reflected by strong figures for the first half of 2014.
