Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what recent representations he has received on the status and rights of agency workers.

I receive regular correspondence from individuals and organisations concerning the rights of workers, including agency workers. The status and rights of agency workers are being examined further by Matthew Taylor in his review of modern working practices. In considering their position he will be engaging with workers, employers, trade unions and representative bodies over the coming months.
