Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he will take to ensure that covid-19 vaccinators are fully trained during the booster campaign.

NHS England and NHS Improvement, the UK Health Security Agency and relevant professional groups have developed a training package for COVID-19 vaccinators. All vaccinators are required to undergo both a training programme and competency assessment to ensure they can safely administer vaccines under the clinical supervision of an experienced health care professional.
