Dyslexia: Waiting Lists

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether there is a backlog of people waiting for a dyslexia diagnosis.
This question was answered on 1st December 2022
The information requested is not held centrally. There is no specific NHS service offering dyslexia testing or assessments and NHS England has no current plans to introduce this within the NHS Long Term Plan. The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence has no specific guideline on the maximum waiting time for a dyslexia diagnosis.
