Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many (a) caucasian and (b) non-caucasian women died (i) during pregnancy and (ii) in childbirth in each of the last three years.
This question was answered on 29th September 2020
The Department does not hold these figures. The Department does not hold any evidence which suggests a higher prevalence of mortality for Caucasian women in pregnancy and childbirth.
