To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, whether the feed-in tariff scheme will continue beyond January 2016.

The FITs Review consultation published on 27 August 2015 sets out proposals for the future of the Feed-in Tariff scheme.
The consultation includes proposals to place the scheme on a more affordable footing to ensure that the impact of the levy control framework on consumer bills is carefully managed; closure of the scheme is also presented as an option. A final decision on the future of the scheme will only be taken after we have considered the responses to that consultation.
