Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, whether the current investigations being carried out by Monitor will continue following its move to single leadership with the Trust Development Authority; and whether those investigations will fall to be supervised by the new single leadership.

Investigations currently being conducted by Monitor, under the powers given to it by the Health and Social Care Act 2012, will continue when Monitor joins with the Trust Development Authority to form NHS Improvement.
