Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, with reference to the Homes for Ukraine scheme, what advice his Department provides to local authorities who have individuals that have not taken up the offer from a sponsor that and remain matched on their system; and what assessment his Department has made of the potential risk of that circumstance in respect of willing sponsors who may not get re-matched with new guests.

Government has written to local authorities to set out plans which introduce a mechanism for local authorities to rematch Homes for Ukraine guests with new sponsors in certain circumstances.
