We estimate that the following numbers of Tax Credit recipient families will receive Universal Credit by the completion of Full Service roll-out:

(a) lone parents with dependent children

2,100,000

(b) married or co-habiting couples with dependent children

1,600,000

(c) married or co-habiting couples with no dependent children

100,000

Please note that these estimates do not take account of all Tax Credit recipients because of the differences in eligibility and take-up between Tax Credits and Universal Credit.
