To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what recent assessment she has made of the potential merits of commissioning an independent review of criminal convictions during the English and Welsh miners strikes of 1984-85, similar to the review commissioned by the Scottish Government in 2018.

There are no plans to undertake an assessment of the potential merits of establishing an independent review of criminal convictions during the English and Welsh miners strikes of 1984-85, similar to the review commissioned by the Scottish Government in 2018.
