Customs Intermediaries

Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the effect of state aid rules on the ability of customs intermediaries to scale up ahead of the end of the transition period.
This question was answered on 5th October 2020
Total grants claimed across the customs grant scheme and any similar schemes must be under €200,000 (the maximum amount of state aid available).
The Government continues to consider how the grant scheme can be improved, including how it best operates within subsidy rules.
