To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people detained by Border Force upon entry to the UK were subsequently released on grounds that they held a valid (a) student and (b) other UK visa in the latest period for which data is available.

Border Force does not hold the data in an easily accessible format on those detained and subsequently released on grounds they held a valid visa, student or other.
