Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what the cost to the public purse was of the acquisition of video clips from Getty Images, Inc. for use in the film of highlights from 2021 published by her Department on 31 December 2021.

No additional costs were incurred in the creation of the end of year highlights video. Video clips used in the highlights video were licensed as part of an annual content contract the FCDO has with Getty Images. The FCDO regularly produces video content to explain the work of the department using in-house content and footage from Getty.
