As the Foreign Secretary set out in her statement to Parliament on 7 January, we are working closely with international partners to push back against Russia's threatening behaviour and to make clear the severe costs to Russia of any military incursion. The Foreign Secretary spoke to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba on 4 January, after welcoming him to London for high level talks on 8 December. She spoke bilaterally to US Secretary of State Blinken on 22 December and again with the Foreign Ministers of France and Germany on 29 December. The Foreign Secretary also joined an extraordinary meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers on 7 January to discuss Russia's military build-up and broader European security issues.
