There has not been a visit by a Minister from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to St Helena in the last 10 years. St Helena is one of the most remote inhabited islands in the world and travel to St Helena was restricted during the Covid-19 pandemic. Lord Goldsmith met with St Helena's Chief Minister in London on 2 November 2022.
