Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps he is taking to ensure that people who experience bowel or bladder frequency issues are recognised as requiring the ability to park next to public toilets (a) at airports and (b) more widely.
People who qualify for a Blue Badge by virtue of experiencing very considerable difficulty walking will benefit from on-street parking concessions. In car parks, including at airports, it is for the operator to determine the terms of parking and any concessions. Airports offer drop-off areas for passengers travelling with a companion that are closest to the terminals, as well as Blue Badge parking spaces.
