Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, with reference to page 25 of the policy paper entitled Network North, published on 4 October 2023, whether the proposed reopening of Beeching lines has entered the Rail Network Enhancements Pipeline; and what the current PACE status of that project is if this has entered the Rail Network Enhancements Pipeline and the current PACE status of the project.

The Restoring Your Railway programme comprises a number of schemes at different stages of development and delivery. Costs and delivery timeframes will vary by scheme.
