To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the waiting time is for an applicant to HM Passport Office to receive a passport.

In the week ending 4 October 2020, the median average processing time for passport applications was six working days.

Please note the processing time does not include the time taken to deliver the passport to the customer.
