Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, if he will take steps to encourage sharing of local office space in the context of fewer people commuting to work five days a week.

The Government does not believe there can be a ‘one size fits all’ approach to hybrid working arrangements and employers should consider what works best for them, in consultation with their staff. Where it makes sense to do so, employers will consider the merits of utilising shared office space.
