Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate his Department has made of the proportion of children aged between five and 12 years old who have had one dose of the covid-19 vaccine as of 26 May 2022.

Uptake has gradually increased in this age cohort although it remains low compared to other age groups. As of 26 May 2022, 8.1% of children aged five to 12 years old have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine in England.
