Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of trends in the uptake of the covid-19 vaccine amongst children aged five and 12 years old since that programme was rolled out.

Uptake has gradually increased in this age cohort although it remains low compared to other age groups. As of 26 May 2022, 8.1% of children aged five to 12 years old have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine in England.
