The Government recently increased funding for the Better Care Fund (BCF) between 2022 and 2025. An additional £500 million will be allocated to the BCF in 2022/23 to reduce delays in discharging medically fit individuals from hospital. The autumn statement also announced £600 million in 2023/24 and £1 billion in 2024/25 will be allocated in addition to the funding from the 2021 Spending Review.
