Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make an assessment of the adequacy of integrated care strategies for meeting the health needs of disabled children.

The Department published guidance on the preparation of integrated care strategies in July 2022. This states that integrated care partnerships should consider how the needs and health and wellbeing outcomes of babies, children, young people and their families can be met and improved. We expect that this would include addressing the needs of disabled children.
