Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of the requirement to continue to pay service charges after the death of the property owner on the finances of the estates of deceased leaseholders in retirement housing development; and what assessment his Department has made of the potential merits of introducing time-limited liability for such charges.
