Question to the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology:
To ask His Majesty's Government whether they plan to introduce restrictions on the publication of AI-generated images of historical events.
This question was answered on 16th September 2025
The Online Safety Act protects users from illegal content and children from age in-appropriate content. Government has no current plans to introduce restrictions on the publication of AI-generated images of historical events.
