There is no limit on the number of international students who can come to study in the UK, and no intention to impose one.

The UK remains the second most popular destination in the world for international higher education students. In the year ending June 2018, the number of University-sponsored study visa applications (main applicants) rose 7%. Visa applications from university students are now 27% higher than they were in 2010.
