Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what steps they are taking to enable the highest possible proportion of terminally ill patients to die at home, or in a hospice.
What’s important to me: A Review of Choice in End of Life Care, published in February 2015, provided advice to Government on how end of life care services could be supported to enable people’s choices to be delivered.
The Government is considering the report and its recommendations and will respond in full later this year.
