Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what processes there are to audit data provided by large businesses subject to the statutory duty to report on their payment practices and performance; and who is responsible for auditing such data.

Businesses in scope of the regulations have a legal responsibility to submit correct data and reports must be approved by a named company director or, for a Limited Liability Partnership, a designated member. We are currently analysing the first year’s set of data and considering compliance issues.
