Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon on 5 February (HL13041), what steps they intend to take to protect the rights of Palestinians from illegal settler expansion.

We consistently call for an immediate end to all actions that undermine the viability of the two-state solution, including settlement expansion and the announcement on 11 February that Israel intends to retroactively legalize structures built on private Palestinian land. We are encouraging both sides to avoid taking actions which make peace more difficult to achieve.
