Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to ensure that more young people are enrolled in the Kickstart scheme.

The Departments’ Kickstart Scheme is open to 16-24 year olds on Universal Credit, at risk of long term unemployment. Work Coaches refer eligible young people who are at risk of the scarring effects of long term unemployment to Kickstart jobs following a discussion to ensure the best fit for employer and young person.
