Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask His Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of reports that food inflation is set to reduce next year; and what assessment they have made of the impact this will have on consumers following the increased cost of living.

His Majesty’s Government is encouraged by reports that food inflation is expected to be lower next year than this year. This will benefit consumers and help with the cost of living.
