Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they are making to the government of Israel about the reported injuries to journalists caused by Israeli forces in Hebron.

The British Government is committed to the promotion of media freedom and the protection of journalists, as an essential element of democracy and an important attribute of human rights. We urge Israel to investigate any such cases in which journalists are injured or killed while doing their jobs.
