Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have, if any, to increase funding for the NHS post-Brexit.

This question was answered on 2nd July 2019

The National Health Service budget will increase by £33.9 billion in cash terms over the next five years, reflecting that the NHS is this Government’s top spending priority. This major investment will support the NHS to continue to deliver world class care.

This extra funding for the NHS will still apply in all European Union exit scenarios to ensure it is there for the long term.
