Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the statement by the Prime Minister on 3 June, how the "unrivalled intelligence-sharing" and "deeper, broader and more advanced" security relationship with the United States has been strengthened as a result of President Trump’s State Visit, particularly with regard to their policy towards Iran.

This question was answered on 8th July 2019

The UK has a special and enduring relationship with the United States based on our long history and shared interests. The State Visit of President Trump on 3-5 June further strengthened our already close relationship with the US in areas including security and defence. The Prime Minister discussed with President Trump how we could build on these ties in the years ahead.
