Roads: Noise

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of research by vehicle manufacturers on road building or re-surfacing contractors to reduce the noise from vehicles passing along main roads.
This question was answered on 9th September 2019
We are not aware of any such research that has been carried out by vehicle manufacturers and as such have undertaken no assessment.
