Question to the Home Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what amount of general taxation has been used to fund (1) border, (2) immigration, and (3) citizenship services, in each quarter since 2010.

The cost of any activity not met by income from fees is met by funding provided by HM Treasury. Information on Departmental income and expenditure by business activity is published in the Annual Home Office Report and Accounts. These can be found in the attached document.
