Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is the average annual sum they have spent over the last three years sending ministers, civil servants and advisers to attend and return from EU meetings in Brussels and elsewhere, including the cost of travel and accommodation.

This information is not held centrally and to provide it would incur a disproportionate cost.

Quarterly returns on Ministerial travel are published online. The Cabinet Office will publish in due course the latest updates to the returns.
