Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what steps they are taking to ensure that women and children fleeing domestic abuse can access safe refuges after the emergency funding for refuge services in England ends.

The Government is committed to a secure future for refuge provision, as set out in our Manifesto, and is determined to ensure that no victim is turned away from the support she needs. Future funding arrangements are a matter for the Spending Review.
