Question to the Northern Ireland Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have received any request from the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland for additional resources for the financial years 2017–18 and 2018–19; and if so, what was the quantum and intended purposes of the requested resources.
This question was answered on 1st November 2017
The Chief Electoral Officer requested additional resources of £149k for the financial year 2017-18 to support the introduction of the new Electoral Management System. This request was granted.
There have been no requests for additional resources for the financial year 2018-19.
